Silicon Emulsion

CHARACTERISTICS

ACPL Silicone Emulsion is aqueous silicone fluid emulsion containing un-reactive polydimethyl siloxane. It can be used both in concentrated as well as diluted form. The emulsion creates a thin but highly effective parting film. It does not carbonize or gum even at temperatures which would quickly destroy organic mould release agents, does not build up moulds, and does not discolour or damage rubber or plastics.

APPLICATIONS

ACPL Silicone Emulsion is release agent that has been developed for use in:

• Rubber Industry
  1. As release agents in vulcanization
  2. As lubricants, e.g., for gaskets
• Plastic Industry
  1. As release agents in the moulding of thermoplastic and thermosetting materials
  2. As additive to pigments and filler to improve processability
• General

  Lubricant and anti-sticking agent for extruded rubber parts. Prevents newly coiled extrusions from sticking together and improves surface appearance. Release coating for conveyors. Prevents sticking of products to conveyors, even those operating at high temperatures.

• Wire and Cable lubricant

  ACPL Silicone Emulsion does not support fungus growth. Hence, the appearance of stored cable is not damaged by fungi, which feed on paraffin
